No Account Required
TesteiitechGames has no registration, login, or sign-up flow. When you open the app, you go straight to the Customize Game screen, choose your settings, and start answering trivia questions.
Because there's no account system, we have no way of identifying you personally through the app itself.
Information We Collect
Since there's no account, we don't collect names, emails, or passwords. The limited data below may be collected automatically:
Game Settings (stored on your device only)
- Your chosen quiz category, difficulty, and number of questions
- Your in-game preferences, stored locally so the app remembers your last setup
Device & Technical Data
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Anonymous crash logs and performance diagnostics, used only to fix bugs
- General, non-identifying analytics such as app opens or screens viewed (if analytics are enabled)
How We Use Information
Whatever limited technical data is collected is used only to:
- Run the trivia game smoothly and remember your last game settings on your own device
- Diagnose and fix crashes or bugs
- Understand general, anonymous usage patterns to improve the app (e.g. which categories are popular)
We do not use any data for advertising, build user profiles, or sell information to third parties — there's no personal data to sell in the first place.
Trivia Content Source
All trivia questions, answers, and categories displayed in TesteiitechGames are retrieved from the Open Trivia Database (OpenTDB), a free, publicly available trivia API.
- Trivia content is fetched directly from OpenTDB's servers each time you start a game
- OpenTDB content is provided under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence
- No personal information is sent to OpenTDB beyond the technical request needed to fetch questions (such as category and difficulty selected)
We are not affiliated with OpenTDB; we simply use their public API to power the trivia content in the app.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data. Limited sharing happens only in these cases:
- OpenTDB: Game customization choices (category, difficulty, question count) are sent to OpenTDB purely to retrieve matching trivia questions.
- Analytics/Crash Reporting Providers (if used): Anonymous, aggregated technical data may be processed by infrastructure providers solely to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users or the app.
Data Storage & Security
- Game settings and preferences are stored locally on your device, not on our servers
- Network requests to OpenTDB are made over secure HTTPS connections
- Since no account or personal profile exists, there is no central database of user identities to secure or breach
Your Choices
- Clear local data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored game settings from your device
- No account to delete: Since there's no registration, there's no personal account to request deletion of
- Device permissions: You can manage any device-level permissions (such as network access) through your phone's settings
Children's Privacy
TesteiitechGames does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the app has no registration system. The app is generally suitable for a wide audience; however, if you believe any content is inappropriate for a younger player, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly if new features (such as optional accounts or leaderboards) are introduced in the future. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
