Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, opening, or using TesteiitechGames ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App. Continued use after any update to these Terms means you accept the revised version.
No Account, No Eligibility Gate
TesteiitechGames has no registration or login. Anyone who can access and operate the App may use it. There is no age-verification step built into the App because no personal data is collected upon use.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a young child is using the App, you remain responsible for supervising their device use, as with any mobile application.
Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use TesteiitechGames for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, including:
- Customizing your trivia game by category, difficulty, and number of questions
- Answering trivia questions retrieved from OpenTDB
- Replaying the game as many times as you like
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use automated scripts or bots to flood requests to the App or to OpenTDB through the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the App's normal operation
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law
Trivia Content & OpenTDB
All trivia questions, answers, and categories in TesteiitechGames are sourced from the Open Trivia Database (OpenTDB), a free, publicly available, user-contributed trivia API.
- OpenTDB content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International
- We are not the author of the trivia content and do not control what questions OpenTDB's database contains
- We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenTDB
Accuracy of Trivia Questions
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any trivia question or answer displayed in the App. If you spot an incorrect question, you're welcome to let us know, though corrections happen at the OpenTDB source level, not within our App directly.
Intellectual Property
The TesteiitechGames name, logo, app design, user interface, and original code are owned by or licensed to us and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
Trivia question content remains subject to OpenTDB's Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence and is not our original work.
Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including:
- That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available
- The accuracy or completeness of trivia content sourced from OpenTDB
- Fitness for any particular purpose
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TesteiitechGames and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Inaccurate or outdated trivia content sourced from OpenTDB
- Temporary unavailability of the OpenTDB service affecting gameplay
Our aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly as new features are added. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from your use of TesteiitechGames shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
