Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, logging in, or otherwise accessing or using BitesByTesteiiTech ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use BitesByTesteiiTech. Your continued use of the App following any modification to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those modifications.

Eligibility

To use BitesByTesteiiTech you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your country)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable law

If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Your Account

When you register, you provide your full name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential and not sharing it with anyone
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at the contact address below
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up to date

You may change your password at any time via Account Settings. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data from Account Settings → Delete Account.

Permitted Use

BitesByTesteiiTech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, including:

• Browsing and searching recipes
• Filtering recipes by dietary preference (vegan, gluten-free, ketogenic, Paleolithic)
• Saving recipes to your Favourites list
• Viewing recipe ingredients, nutritional data, and cooking instructions
• Sharing recipe links via your device's native share sheet
• Discovering recipes based on ingredients you have available
• Analysing the nutritional content of meals you describe

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the App's content for any automated purpose
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or other systems
• Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

Recipes & Third-Party Content

Recipes, nutritional data, and related content displayed in BitesByTesteiiTech are sourced from the Spoonacular Food API. BitesByTesteiiTech does not author this content and makes no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose.

Recipe content is provided for personal informational and inspirational use only. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit recipe content without the rights holder's permission.

The Share feature lets you share recipe links via your device's share sheet. You are responsible for how and where you share content.

Nutritional Information & Health Disclaimer

You should not rely on nutritional data from BitesByTesteiiTech as the sole basis for dietary or health decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have or suspect a medical condition.

Nutrient values are calculated from Spoonacular's database and may vary from actual values depending on preparation method, ingredient brands, and portion size.

Intellectual Property

All original elements of BitesByTesteiiTech — including the App's name, logo, design, user interface, and code — are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you. Your licence to use the App does not include the right to sub-license, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any part of BitesByTesteiiTech.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content or data

We do not guarantee that BitesByTesteiiTech will be available at all times or that any errors will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BitesByTesteiiTech and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Reliance on nutritional information or recipe content
• Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to secure credentials
• Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in third-party data from Spoonacular

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App's Account Settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will endeavour to provide notice where reasonably practicable.

Upon termination, your licence to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) shall continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification or push notification at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

If you disagree with revised Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BitesByTesteiiTech shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts competent to hear such matters under applicable law.
